I attended a Brazilian concert named Choro das 3 on April 11,2016 at Evergreen Presbyterian Church. I was expecting this musical to sound very festive, fun and relaxing. The instrumental group consisted of three sisters and their father. Elisa played the Brazilian mandolin, banjo, and the clarinet. She also writes and performs on the piano. Lia holds the harmony while she played the seven-string guitar. Their father, Eduardo, gave us the rhythm with the frame drum. Corina doubled n the piccolo.

A quiet little house on a University campus that has 3 boys and 6 girls encompassing it. All three boys play guitar beautifully and attempt to sing as best they can. I have never heard them play before, but I was invited to go watch one of their jam sessions that took place in the past couple weeks for this project and to learn more about music from the musicians themselves. What makes this something out of my comfort zone? Why did I choose this venue or music type for this project? When I think
Saturday, March 5th, Tim, Thomas, Hunter and myself drove out to Lexington to watch the show put out by the Met Winds called “At the Movies”. This show's premise was how important and impactful music in a movie or performance can be. From the importance not only added my music in a scene with suspense or terror to heighten a mood but also for example in the show when a man in a chariot is making his way around an arena filled with thousands of people without the music it was very prosaic. This show
When I first arrived at Live on the Green I had never seen the venue or heard any of the bands who were performing. I didn’t look up to see who was performing in which slot I just thought whenever I get ready and get there is who I will see play. Luckily enough for me Anderson East exceeded my expectations. I left Saturday around four, picked up my friend, and off we went. When we arrived we scanned our seating options. People were scattered everywhere. Some on blankets and in chairs on the lawn
Notes from “It’s Only Love” by The Beatles sounded through Norris University Center on Wednesday to kick off Lunch on the Lake, a six-week series of noontime concerts featuring live music and BBQ food. The event’s inaugural artists — Tommi Zender, a multi-instrumentalist, and Phil Angotti, an alternative rocker — played music inspired by The Beatles for about an hour to an audience of more than 60 people. “(The Lakefill) is a great place to take a small child in your hand, walk and get a nice breeze

Although I already got to walk around the place the first time I visited, it was my sisters first time there
Concert Review The music concert this review covers is the Plano Symphony’s rendition of the Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy in C minor and Symphony No. 9, The Choral, in D minor. The concert was held at a church in April 16, 2016, and it was a sold out performance. Since it was a night simply dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven, the symphony titled the concert as “Best of Beethoven.” The first part of the concert played Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, also known as Fantasia, and it lasted less than 30 minutes
Jazz Concert Review [pic] The first formal small jazz concert was held at the Maum Café on Sep. 25th, 2008. There were many music performances have held at the Maum Café but Zino Park, leader of the band, and manager of Maum Café agreed to arrange a formal jazz concert for the first time. The main theme of this concert was “Smooth Jazz with Zino Park at Maum”. Before the concert began, the band members introduced themselves to the audience. The names of players were: Acoustic guitar
