Use the Venn diagrams you drew in Exercises 1-3 to decide if the statement is true or false. Explain your reasoning.

If a positive odd integer less than 11 is a factor of 10, then it is 5.

Calculation:

Venn diagram shows factor of 10 and odd numbers.

  

In Venn diagram A shows- factor of 10.

In Venn diagram B shows- odd numbers.

Factor of 10 are = 1, 2, 5, 10

Odd factor of 10 are = 1, 5

So positive odd integer less than 11 is a factor of 10, then it is not only 5 but also 1.

So false.
