At 2 levels, which are leptin and insulin, the experiment had one hormone type factor, resulting in 2 treatments.

The function of randomization is that the treatment group does not have any knowledge about the random allocation. The response variables are the quantity of food eaten and weight lost.

The experiment concludes that hormones help examine appetite regulation by means of rat weight loss. Insulin responds best in male rats and leptin responds best in female rats.
