Given information: A right triangle with hypotenuse and one small side having length 61 units and 11 units.

Where, P, B and H be the perpendicular, base and hypotenuse of right angled triangle.

By Pythagoras theorem, $B^2+P^2=H^2$

Since base is the smallest side of the right angle triangle.

Here, $B=11\text{and}H=61$

  $\begin{array}{l}{11}^2+P^2={61}^2\\ P^2={61}^2-{11}^2\\ P^2=(61+11)(61-11)\\ P^2=(72)(50)\\ P=60\end{array}$

Hence, the length of the other side is 60 units.
