Given:
Angles formed by two parallel lines and a transversal.
Concept used:
When two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the angles on the matching corners are known as corresponding angles.
When two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the angles formed inside the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal are known as alternate interior angles.
When two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the angles formed outside the parallel lines and on opposite sides of the transversal are known as alternate exterior angles.
Upon looking at angle 3 and angle 7, we can see that both angles are same side of parallel lines and on the same sides of transversal. Therefore,
