Enlist three to four important points that should be discussed with a genetic counselor to determine an individual’s risk of cancer.
Introduction:
Cancer is a genetic disease. It’s not a single disease; rather it is two or more hundreds of diseases. It affects almost all organ systems, tissues, and cells. The growth of the cells is uncontrolled, and the cells that lead to cancer are abnormal. There are over two hundred types of known cancers. The causative agents to cause cancer are –chemicals, ionization radiation, pathogens, human genetics, compound exposure, poor lifestyle, diet, environmental factors etc.
It grows proliferate over time with the increase in intrinsic and acquired treatment resistance.

- Describe the process for identifying a cancer program’s adjustment needsarrow_forwardwhat is the importance of outcome evaluation for a cancer programarrow_forwardexpand this into 1000 words for a conclusion of a report. context is that the title is Identification of Differentially Expressed Genes in Breast Cancer Using RNA-Seq. Also STATE THAT THE RESULT SUPPORT THE HYPOTHESIS. "In conclusion, the RNA-Seq analysis has identified several genes that are differentially expressed in breast cancer. These genes may play important roles in the development and progression of breast cancer and could potentially serve as targets for therapeutic intervention. The comparison underscores the complex interplay between TONSL expression and gene regulation, highlighting distinct gene expression profiles in primary cells versus TONSL-overexpressing cells. These findings provide valuable insights into the regulatory roles of TONSL and its potential implications for cellular physiology and disease mechanisms. Understanding the differences in gene expression dynamics between primary cells and TONSL-overexpressing cells is crucial for elucidating the molecular…arrow_forward

What type of information would be helpful in deciding whether to follow “active surveillance” ? What type of biomarkers are used for prostrate and breast cancer? And how they are helpful.arrow_forward
