Introduction:
The adrenergic receptors are the G protein-coupled receptors present in the plasma membrane of most cells. The adrenergic receptors are mainly of two types- the alpha adrenergic receptors and the beta adrenergic receptors. These receptors transmit the neurotransmitter (acetylcholine) through the synapses formed between the muscles and neurons.
