Program Plan Intro

Default package:

• The default package is the package which is unnamed.
• The unnamed package contains java classes that did not have a package declaration in their source files.
• The default kit is intended for convenience when creating small or temporary applications, or when development is just beginning.
• The compiled class files are to be found in the current working directory.

“java.lang” package:

• The “java.lang” is a package used for the purpose of language support.
• “java.lang” package contains the classes that are essential to Java programming language design.
• Example of class in “java.lang” package is “Math”.
