For the following computer problems, any appropriate software may be used. Input prompts should fully explain what is required of the user (the program should be user-friendly). The resulting output should be well labeled and self-explanatory. For spreadsheet problems, any appropriate software may be used.
8.27 Use a spreadsheet program to solve on more of the following: Example 8.4 , Problem 8.31 , 8.32 , or 8.35. The user should be able to input the appropriate geometric properties for any shapes of the types shown and the program should then determine the appropriate quantities and display the result (s). Vary a single shape or dimension and observe the effect on the properties of the built-up cross section.
