Explanation of Solution
Introduction:
Center of mass of an object is defined as the point at which the sum of weighted relative position of the distributed mass is zero. If the force is applied at this point, then only linear acceleration will be there. It is the mean location of a distribution of mass in space.
When brakes are applied in a car, road exerts a backward force on the tires that is in opposite direction. The center of mass of car is above the road when car comes to rest. Car will follow center of mass, which rotates the car in the direction and the forces will make the front end of the car dips.
