Attractive. Again consider the process of repeated squaring. If you take the number 0 and square it, you get 0 again. So, 0 is a fixed point under that process. Show that every point near 0 gets increasingly close to 0 under repeated squaring. We call 0 an attractor, since nearby points are attracted toward it.
