* The following information about two different snack foods is taken from their packages
Suppose we want to compare the amount of fat in these foods. One way to compare the fat is to compare the amount of fat in 1 serving of each food; another way is to compare the amount of fat in some fixed number of calories of the foods, such as 1 calorie or 100 calories: yet another way is to compare the amount of fat in a fixed number of grams of the foods, such as 1 gram or 100 grams. Solve the following problems by comparing the small crackers and chocolate hearts in different ways:
a. Explain how to interpret the information in the table so that the chocolate hearts have 117% more fat than the small crackers.
b. Explain how to interpret the information in the table so that the chocolate hearts have 52% more fat than the small crackers.
c. Explain how to interpret the information in the table so that the chocolate hearts have 38% more fat than the small crackers.
