Expert Solution & Answer

Answer to Problem 4PSA

Measure of M is 115° .

Explanation of Solution

Given information : Here, we have given that measure of G is 50°

Formula used : Sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180° .

Calculation: In GHJ ,

  G+H+J=180°50°+H+J=180°H+J=180°50°H+J=130°

Now, diving both sides by 2, we get,

  12(H+J)=12(130°)12H+12J=65°

Now, GHM=MHJ

  MHJ=12GHJ

Similarly, GJM=MJH ,

  MJH=12GJH

Now, In ΔMHJ ,

  M+MHJ+MJH=180°M+12(GHJ)+12(GJH)=180°M+65°=180°M=180°65°M=115°
