Fatty acids are made of carboxylic acid which contains the chains of hydrocarbon attached to the group of terminal carboxyl acid. It helps in building the block of fat in the cells from the food we have to eat. When the food is digested it breaks down into the fatty acids and later absorbed in the blood.
