The notation of definite assignment in Java:

• Every local variable and blank final filed in java must have a definitely assigned value while accessing its value.
• An accessing to its value consists of the simple name of the variable occurs anywhere in an expression except the left side operand of the simple assignment operator.
• A java compiler must carry out a specific conservative flow analysis to make sure that, for each access of a local variable or blank final filed, the blank final filed definitely assigned before the access, else it will produce a compile-time error.
