Explanation of Solution

Accomplishing the given program with while loop:

• In the given program, for loop is used to print the blank lines with its input.
• Now replacing the for loop with while loop and introduce an extra initial read_line.

        line = read_line();

        while (!all_blanks(line))

        {

            consume_line(line);

            line = read_line();

        }

• One can also place the if statement in second half of the loop that copy the termination test.

        do

        {

            line = read_line();

            if (!all_blanks(line)) consume_line(line);

        } while !(all_blanks(line));

• With the use of while or repeat loop, one could ignore the duplicate code by adding an extra flag variable...
