To determine: The goal of Shahid Naeem and colleagues experiment at Silwood Park, England.
Introduction: Ecosystem is defined as the interaction between the living (biotic) and nonliving (abiotic) components present in the environment. These interactions are important for the proper flow of nutrients and energy in a system. Different organisms of the ecosystem contribute in a different way and presence or absence of any one species have a great effect on the functioning of the ecosystem.

Question:- The required dose of chromic oxide (10 g)
is impregnated on cellulose or paper, and enclosed it
in a gelatin capsule and administered to the
experimental animals. The preliminary period should
be at least 10 days and collection period should be 7
days. Collect at least 50 grab samples of faeces
from each animal. To overcome diurnal variation,
collect randomly in the pasture or pen. If more than
one animal is in a pasture, coloured polyethylene
particles may be administered to the animals so that
