Define a Beer class that contains the following instance variables with accessors/mutators:
String name; // The name of the beer
double alcohol; // The percent alcohol or the beer, e.g. // 0.05 for 5%
Add the following method:
// This method returns the number of drinks that a person
// of (weight) pounds can drink using the alcohol percentage
// in the beer, assuming a drink of 12 ounces. This is an
// estimate. The method assisted chat the legal limit is 0.08 blood
// alcohol.
public double intoxicated(double weight)
{
double numDrinks;
// This is a simplification of the Widmark formula
numDrinks = (0.08 + 0.015) + weight / (12 + 7.5 + alcohol);
return numDrinks;
}
Write code in a main method that creates two Beer objects with different alcohol percentages. Invoke the intoxicated method for a light individual and a heavy individual and output the estimated number of drinks to become legally intoxicated.

VehiclesWrite a program that models 2 vehicles (Car and Truck) and will be able to simulate driving and refueling them inthe summer. Car and truck both have fuel quantity, fuel consumption in liters per km and can be driven givendistance and refueled with given liters. But in the summer both vehicles use air conditioner and their fuelconsumption per km is increased by 0.9 liters for the car and with 1.6 liters for the truck. Also the truck has a tinyhole in his tank and when it gets refueled it gets only 95% of given fuel. The car has no problems when refueling andadds all given fuel to its tank. If vehicle cannot travel given distance its fuel does not change.Input On the first line - information about the car in format {Car {fuel quantity} {liters per km}} On the second line – info about the truck in format {Truck {fuel quantity} {liters per km}} On third line - number of commands N that will be given on the next N lines On the next N lines –…arrow_forward
- Objective: At the end of the activity, the students should be able to: Apply method overloading in a program. Procedure: 1. Develop a simple program for an individual savings account. Create two (2) classes named AmountDue (no class modifier) and RunAmountDue (public). 2. For the AmountDue class, create three (3) overloaded methods named computeAmountDue based on the following conditions: With a single parameter: It represents the price of one (1) item ordered. Add 12% tax and return the total due. With two (2) parameters: These represent the price of an item and the quantity ordered. Multiply the two (2) values, add 12% tax, and return the total due. With three (3) parameters: These represent the price of an item, the quantity ordered, and the discount amount. Multiply the quantity and price, deduct the discount amount, add 12% tax, and return the total due. 3. For the RunAmountDue class, import the Scanner class to be able to use the nextDouble() method. 4. Instantiate an AmountDue…arrow_forwardA constructor is a special method that has the same name as the class and the return type void. The class should have instance variables for the quizzes, midterm, final, overall numeric score for the course, and final letter grade. The overall numeric score is a number in the range 0 to 100, which represents the weighted average of the student’s work. The class should have methods to compute the overall numeric grade and the final letter grade. These last methods should be void methods that set the appropriate instance variables. Your class should have a reasonable set of accessor and mutator methods, an equals method, and a toString method.arrow_forward
- Create an automobile class that will be used by a dealership as a vehicle inventory program. The following attributes should be present in your automobile class: private string make private string model private string color private int year private int mileage Your program should have appropriate methods such as: default constructor parameterized constructor add a new vehicle method list vehicle information (return string array) remove a vehicle method update vehicle attributes method. All methods should include try..catch constructs. Except as noted all methods should return a success or failure message (failure message defined in "catch"). Create an additional class to call your automobile class (e.g., Main or AutomobileInventory). Include a try..catch construct and print it to the console. Call automobile class with parameterized constructor (e.g., "make, model, color, year, mileage"). Then call the method to list the values. Loop through the array and print to the screen.…arrow_forward01____Write a program that calculates the average of courses, overall grade, and letter grade. Suppose that your students take four courses - English, Mathematics, Science, and History. You should design a class that accepts all four course's numeric scores, calculates average and overall grade, and decides letter grade based on the overall grade. Your class should have a constructor, get and set methods of each course, a method that calculates the average of four courses, a method that calculates overall grade, and a method that decides letter grade. The overall grades are calculated as the following rate: Average of All four courses: 50% Quiz: 40% Attendance: 10% The letter grade is based on the following: 90.0 to 100.0 - A 80.0 to 89.9 - B 70.0 to 79.9 - C 65.0 to 69.9 - D less than 65 - F Your program demonstrates the class by asking the user to input four-course numeric scores, creating an object, and then reporting each course's score, average, overall grade, and letter…arrow_forward2019 AP® COMPUTER SCIENCE A FREE-RESPONSE QUESTIONS 2.
