Introduction: Different organisms have different types of nervous system. For example, jellyfishes have a simple nerve net and humans contain a well-defined complex nervous system. The nervous system of humans is composed of CNS and PNS. CNS stands for “Central nervous system” and it is composed of brain and the spinal cord. However, PNS or “Peripheral nervous system” contains the neurons that connect brain and spinal cord to each other and to other parts of the body.
