The three ways in which exocrine glands release secretions with example.
Introduction:
Glands consist mainly of the epithelium with a connective tissue supporting network. These glands develop from an infolding or out folding of the epithelium in the embryo. If the gland retains an open contact with the epithelium, a duct is present. Glands with ducts are called exocrine glands. Both the glands and their ducts are lined with the epithelium.
