Summary Introduction

To predict: The percentage for a child to have unattached earlobe when a mother has the dominant and homozygous unattached earlobes while a father has the recessive and homozygous attached earlobe.

Introduction: According to Mendelian inheritance, a single character is controlled by one or more pairs of alleles. These alleles can be either dominant or recessive. Usually, dominant allele masks the expression of recessive allele. A recessive allele is expressed only in the homozygous condition.
