Summary Introduction

To predict: The percentage of each genotype and phenotype of the offspring born to a woman having wavy hair and a man having curly hair.

Introduction: According to Mendelian inheritance, a single character is controlled by one or more pairs of alleles. These alleles can be either dominant or recessive. Usually, dominant allele masks the expression of recessive allele. A recessive allele is expressed only in the homozygous condition. In case of incomplete dominance, there exists only partial dominance so that the offspring exhibits an intermediate trait between the dominant and recessive allele.
