Determining the fault on the signal that is given:

• An instruction that assigns the value of that wire to be at bit 1 is required to test stuck –at-0 faults on wire.
• An instruction that assigns the value of that wire to be at bit 0 is required to test stuck –at-1 fault on wire.
• When the value of the wire is being stuck at the either bits 0 or 1 then it produces a different results.

Possibility of testing the stuck-0 and stuck -1 fault at the same time:
