Concept introduction:
The electrons are negatively charged particles, protons are positively and neutrons are neutral. The atom is electrically neutral as it contains same number of electrons and protons. These electrons are filled in a systematic manner according to the energies of sublevels. The position and velocity of electrons is studied using quantum model of an atom.
