The skin has many hair follicles and when proper care is not taken bacteria clog these hair follicles. This leads to many skin conditions and infections like blackheads, whiteheads, boil, and carbuncle. Blackheads and whiteheads are acne, whereas boil and carbuncles are infections caused by these bacteria.
