Why would a polar bear be unable to migrate from the North Pole to the South Poles? As it approached the equator it would overheat because it is adapted for cold climates, not warm ones. It would be unable to navigate across any bodies of water because they are too far across to transverse. O It would be unlikely to have enough insulation on its body to survive the trip. O There would be very few sources of food as it made the long trek across the globe. EB
Can somone help me to answer 2 question after watching a video, Thank you  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M18HxXve3CM   1)What is one interesting or surprising thing you learned from the video you watched? 2)It’s unlikely that you personally hunt wolves or whales, and equally unlikely that you are responsible for importing rabbits and foxes to Australia as shown in these videos.  But your actions do affect ecosystems. What is one thing you can start doing or stop doing right away to help protect the earth’s ecosystems? Explain how the thing you chose helps to protect ecosystems.
Introduction The Rock Pocket Mouse The rock pocket mouse, Chaetodipus intermedius, is a small, nocturnal animal found in the deserts of thesouthwestern United States. Most rock pocket mice have a sandy, light-colored coat that enables them to blendin with the light color of the desert rocks and sand on which they live. However, populations of primarily dark-colored rock pocket mice have been found living in areas where the ground is covered in a dark rock calledbasalt caused by geologic lava flows thousands of years ago. Scientists have collected data from a population ofprimarily dark-colored mice living in an area of basalt called the Pinacate lava flow in Arizona, as well as from anearby light-colored population. Researchers analyzed the data from these two populations in search of thegenetic mutation responsible for the dark coat color. Their analyses led to the discovery of a mutation in theMc1r gene that is involved in coat-color determination.   The MC1R Gene Two pigments…
