Chapter 36, Problem 5MCQ
Summary Introduction

Introduction:

There are differences in the mating systems in different animals. In some organisms like corals, there is a release of both the gametes in the water or in other organisms the release of gametes is in their surroundings where they live. In some other organisms there is a release of gametes inside the organisms like in most of the mammals while in some other organisms, the release of the fertilization takes place outside the body of an organism. Due to these differences in the mating ways there is a difference in the paternal care of a male organism.
