Concept introduction:

Spermatogenesis is the process of formation of sperms in the male body, when a male reaches to the age of maturity (puberty) and continuous throughout life. Spermatogenesis takes place in the testes that contain the seminiferous tubules which produces the sperm cells. The sertoli cells in the testes provide the nourishment to the sperm cells. The interstitial cells are present in between the spaces of seminiferous tubules and produce the male sex hormones.
