Summary Introduction

Lymphocytes are a type of leukocytes, found mainly in the lymph. The three types of lymphocytes present in our body are T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells. T cells are synthesized in the thymus, whereas B cells are produced in the bone marrow. Both these cells are components of the adaptive immune system. There are two types of T cells namely cytotoxic T cell and helper T cell.
