Solution:

If the star parallaxes are being measured from the Moon instead of Earth, the method will have to be adjusted to reflect the position of the Moon, with respect to the Earth and the Sun.

If the measurement is being done from Mars, the distance between Mars and the Sun will be used as the baseline and an Earth year will have to be replaced by a Mars year.
