Explanation of Solution

The two major classes of water include potable water and recreational water. Water which is suitable for the consumption of human beings is referred to as potable water. Filtration and chlorination process are the two important processes which are carried out in potable water to make it safe for consumption. Recreational water includes aquatic freshwater systems such as a stream, lakes, ponds, as well as public wading and swimming pools. This recreational source of water acts as a major cause of waterborne illness and causes more disease outbreaks as compared to drinking water.

Surface water can be made safe for drinking purposes through the process of filtration and chlorination. Both these process make the surface of recreational water just like of potable water.

Which of the emerging public health issues related to water do you believe will have the most impact on the future of safe drinking water?
The following is not an indication of a very low BOD except? A The water is healthy thus, water quality is high. B) Contamination is present. c) The available microorganisms are uninterested in consuming the available organics. The available microorganisms are dead or dying.
