Monthly Payments
The monthly payment on a loan may be calculated by the following formula:
• Rate is the monthly interest rate, which is the annual interest rate divided by 12.
(A 12 percent annual interest would be 1 percent monthly interest.)
• N is the number of payments
• L is the amount of the loan.
Write a
Loan Amount: $ 10000.00
Monthly Interest Rate: 1%
Number of Payment s: 36
Monthly Payment: $ 332 .14
Amount Paid Back: $ 11957 .15
Interest Paid: $ 1957. 15

- Ron bought several acres of farm to grow and sell vegetables. Suppose that Ron wants to grow a maximum of two types of vegetables. Write a program that prompts Ron or the user to do the following: Enter the total farm area in acres. The number of vegetables (one or two) that the user wants to grow. If the user wants to grow trwo types of vegetables, then specify the portion,as a percentage, of the farm land used for each type of vegetable. Enter the seed cost, plantation cose, fertilizing cost, labor cost, for each acre. Enter vegetable selling price per acre. Output the total revenue. Output the profit/loss.arrow_forward(Numerical) Write an assignment statement to calculate the nth term in an arithmetic sequence. This is the formula for calculating the value, v, of the nth term: v=a+(n1)d a is the first number in the sequence. d is the difference between any two numbers in the sequence.arrow_forward(Conversion) Write an assignment statement to convert temperature in degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius. The formula for this conversion is Celsius=5/9(Fahrenheit32).arrow_forward
- Interest Rates Savings accounts state an interest rate and a compounding period. If theamount deposited is P, the stated interest rate is r, and interest is compounded m timesper year, then the balance in the account after one year is P⋅(1+rm)m. For instance, if$1000 is deposited at 3% interest compounded quarterly (that is, 4 times per year), thenthe balance after one year is1000⋅(1+.034)4=1000⋅1.00754=$1,030.34.Interest rates with different compounding periods cannot be compared directly. The concept of APY (annual percentage yield) must be used to make the comparison. TheAPY for a stated interest rate r compounded m times per year is defined byAPY=(1+rm)m−1.(The APY is the simple interest rate that yields the same amount of interest after oneyear as the compounded annual rate of interest.) Write a program to compare interestrates offered by two different banks and determine the most favorable interest rate. SeeFig. 4.24.arrow_forwardPYTHON programming solotion Develop a program that allows the user to enter a start value of 1 to 4, a stop value of 5 to 12 and a multiplier of 2 to 8. The program must display a multiplication table with results using these values. For example, if the user enters a start value of 3, a stop value of 7 and a multiplier value of 3, the table should be displayed as follows: Multiplication Table 3 x 3 = 9 3 x 4 = 12 3 x 5 = 15 3 x 6 = 18 3 x 7 = 21 additionally Each multiplication problem must be displayed with a problem number. The program must prompt the user to enter an answer to each of the multiplication problems. The correct answer should be displayed after the user enters an answer. A message should be displayed informing the user that the answer entered was correct or incorrect followed by an appropriate motivating comment. A running record of the number of correct and incorrect responses must be kept. After all the problems have been presented the user must be informed of…arrow_forwardMETHODOLOGY A bookstore owner wants you to write a program that calculates the gross pay of an employee. The input to the program is the number of hours the employee works in one week and the employee’s hourly pay rate. The program is to calculate the employee’s gross pay including the possibility of overtime pay. Regular pay is the number of hours the employee worked (up to 40 hours) times the hourly rate. The program is to compute an overtime pay if the employee worked more than 40 hours. All hours beyond 40 should be multiplied to 1.5 for the OT differential pay The program should output the worker’s regular pay, overtime time, and the gross pay (sum of the regular pay and overtime pay). - Retail price calculator Write a program that asks the user to enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is 10.00.• If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is 7.50. The program should have a method named calculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forwarduse C++ programming language Write a program that computes and displays the charges for a patient’s hospital stay. First, the program should ask if the patient was admitted as an inpatient or an outpatient. If the patient was an inpatient, the following data should be entered: The number of days spent in the hospital The daily rate Charges for hospital services (lab tests, etc.) Hospital medication charges If the patient was an outpatient, the following data should be entered: Charges for hospital services (lab tests, etc.) Hospital medication charges Use a single, separate function to validate that no input is less than zero. If it is, it should be reentered before being returned. Once the required data has been input and validated, the program should use two overloaded functions to calculate the total charges. One of the functions should accept arguments for the inpatient data, while the other function accepts arguments for outpatient data. Both functions should return the…arrow_forwardPopulation Tracker Learning Objective: Using Python Repetition and Loop Statements Problem Description Write a Python program (Console and GUI) that predicts the approximate size of a population of organisms. The application should use text boxes to allow the user to enter the following information: starting number of organisms, the average daily population increase (as a percentage), and the number of days the organisms will be left to multiply. For example, assume the user enters the following values: Starting number of organisms: 2 Average daily increase: 30% Number of days to multiply: 10 The program should display the following table of dataarrow_forward
- Odd Even Number Problem Description Even Numbers are integers that are exactly divisible by 2, whereas an odd number cannot be exactly divided by 2. Example of even numbers are 2,4,6,8 and odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Input The first line input contains an integer, which determines the number of test cases. Each of following lines represent sequence of integers that ends with 0. 2 34 1 8 5 22 0 10 7 16 -2 0 Output For each test case, the output will present the size of oddQueue and evenQueue following with the integers of odd and even numbers. oddQueue 2: 1 5 evenQueue 3: 34 8 22 oddQueue 1: 7 evenQueue 3: 10 16 -2 ** Your task is to write a program that will read the input and identify whether it is an odd number or even number. /******************************************************************************* Compilation: javac Queue.java** The Queue class represents a first-in-first-out (FIFO) queue of generic items.* It supports the usual enqueue and dequeue…arrow_forwardMicrowaves / Radio Waves If a scientist knows the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave she can determine what type of radiation it is.
