Introduction:

Plants evolved various adaptations to survive in the terrestrial environments. The main advantage of these adaptations is the evolutionary and survival benefits it provided to plant species to spread to areas with a limited amount of water. Before the development of these adaptations, plants got distributed beyond the aquatic environment.
