Question
Chapter 27, Problem 27.45P
Interpretation Introduction
Interpretation:
The channel through which ions reenter the matrix of mitochondria is to be stated.
Concept Introduction:
Mitochondria have two membranes, inner and outer membranes. In the mitochondria, various catabolic pathways occur. The mitochondria are present in most of the eukaryotic organisms. Eukaryotic organisms possess a nucleus which is covered by membranes. The examples of eukaryotic organisms are plants and human beings. On the other hand, prokaryotes do not possess a distinct nucleus.
