Proof:
Two variables are related statistically as if there is a change in one variable the other variable will also change.
In correlation it is not necessary that the change in one variable is the cause of the change in the values of other, while causation shows a casual relationship between the two events that is change in one will result in the change in other.
A casual relationship between two variables must be correlated but vice versa is not possible always.
A correlation between two variables can actually show causation
