It is a type of animal that have the spinal cord that is surrounded by bone and cartilage. Examples are mammals, birds, and fish.
    Invertebrate

It is a type of animal that does not contain the spinal cord or the backbone. Examples are insects, snail, corals, and octopus.
    Endoskeleton
An endoskeleton is structure that provides internal support to the animal. It is made of mineralized tissue.
    Exoskeleton
It is the external skeleton that protects and supports the body of an animal.
    Internal fertilization
The fertilization of egg cell and a sperm cell at the time of sexual reproduction inside the body of a fame counterpart is termed as internal fertilization. It can be seen in mammals.
    External fertilization
The fertilization of egg cell and a sperm cell outside the body of female is termed as external fertilization. It can be seen in many amphibians and fish.
    Blastula
It is the hollow sphere of cells that is produced during embryo development.
    Gastrula
Gastrula is stage in embryo development just after blastula stage. It contains three layer of cells.
    Hermaphrodite
An animal or a person that has both the female and male sex organs.
