Lewis structure is also known as Lewis dot structure, which shows the bonding of valence electrons that are present on the atom in the molecule.
In Lewisstructure, bonded electrons are represented by a line and lone pairs are represented by a dot.
Hybridization takes place when the energy of an orbital of an atom is redistributed to form orbitals (new) of equal energy. The new orbital can hold the same total number of electrons as the old ones.
