Leaves are known as the kitchen of a plant. They are called so because of the fact that they are those organs of a plant that are responsible for making food in the form of carbohydrates for a plant. There are two types of leaves. First one is a simple leaf. It is a leaf the leaf blade of which is intact and is not divided by the even if it is lobed. A compound leaf is that leaf that is divided into several leaflets.
