To predict: The role of endocytosis in endosymbiosis.
Introduction: In endocytosis, the plasma membrane invaginates to form a vesicle for the uptake of substances into the cell. Symbiosis is defined as an interaction between two different organisms living in close physical association, usually with benefits to one or both of the individuals involved. Endosymbiosis occurs when one organism actually lives inside the other.
