Question
Chapter 22, Problem 6CR
Summary Introduction
To explain:
The reason due to which the walls of the atria are thinner than the ventricles and the walls of the right ventricle are relatively thinner than the walls of the left ventricle.
Introduction:
The heart contains four hollow chambers: the right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium, and left ventricle. Each of these chambers plays a role in the continuous process of blood circulation. The cardiac muscle cells are arranged in spiral bundles around the heart chambers that are attached to the fibrous skeleton.
