Introduction:
Blood is a red-colored fluid that consists of four main components: plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and blood platelets. Blood serves important function of transportation of nutrients and other substances throughout the body. It also helps in exchange of gases. Red blood cells are mainly involved in transportation whereas white blood cells and platelets form defense and repair systems of the body.
