Introduction: The nerves that are emerging directly from the brain, in contrast to the spinal nerve are known as cranial nerves, for example, olfactory nerves. The term olfactory is derived from the Latin word “olfacere’, which indicates “to smell”. The majorly injured of all cranial nerves is the olfactory nerve. Toxins, virus, and trauma are the major reasons for the olfactory nerve damage.

Mnemonic techniques aid information retrieval or retention of a huge amount of information in the memory of the human. Mnemonics can be a rhyme, song, phrase, or image to assist remember a list of information in a certain order. In mnemonics, the first letter of the term within a phrase is generally used to form a name. For example, cranial nerve olfactory nerve, optic nerve, and oculomotor nerve are indicated by using the first letter O,O,O.
