Question
Chapter 20.2, Problem 12BYGO
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The vasoconstriction and vasodilation are collectively called as vasomotion. The narrowing of the vessel is called as vasoconstriction, and it occurs by contraction of smooth muscle in the tunica media. On the other hand, the widening of the vessel is called as vasodilation, and it occurs when blood pressure expands the vessel and relaxation of the smooth muscle. The vasomotor center of the brain controls the vasomotion.
