Base 2:

• It generally represents the binary number system.
• Binary numbers are usually represented with two digits 0 and 1. Each 0 or 1 in a binary number is known as bits.
• Binary number is the method which represents 2 as the base of each digit.

Base 8:

• It generally represents the octal number system.
• It consists of eight digits that is from 0 to 7.
• A machine code consists of normally binary digits which are represented in bits and are very large to handle in an operating system.
• Each octal value is a shortened form of three binary digits.
• Octal number is the method which represents 8 as the base of each digit.
