  • First alternative is a special tool developed using C++; the clients will get this tool on their machines to execute and connect with the DRUB server to get data for analyzing.
  • Second alternative is the C++ code executing on the server; the client will use the browser to communicate with the server.

Advantages:

• Simple architecture.
• Since the architecture uses homogenous software, there are no interoperability issues.

Disadvantages:

• Potential speed delays since all data must transfer from server to client for processing.

• No speed delays since all data resides on the server and processed in server itself.
