The reason that leukemia produces hemorrhagic spots (petechiae) in leukemia patients.
Introduction:
Petechiae is the reddish-purple spot that is caused by the breakdown of capillary blood vessels. The red color is due to the blood cells that are leaked by the capillaries. Some of the causes of petechiae are; a viral infection that impairs blood coagulation, autoimmune disease, local injury, and the trauma.
