Chapter 19, Problem 18RQ
Summary Introduction
To review:
The heart chamber which appears the largest upon visuailzation of the anterior surface of the heart.
Introduction:
The body tissues require continuous supply of oxygen for their efficient functioning. The heart is the muscular pumping organ that takes the deoxygenated blood from the body and pumps this blood for oxygenation into the lungs. This oxygenated blood is then received by the heart, which is further pumped all around the body tissue.
