Concept introduction:
The boiling point of a particular substance is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the atmospheric pressure. The boiling point depends on many factors and one of them is hydrogen bonding. Hydrogen bonding in a compound increases the boiling point of the compound. This is because; the bonds are not easily broken in the compound to enter the vapor phase.
