• Define the method “min()”,
  • Check whether the overall root is null.
    • If it is true, throws an exception named “IllegalStateException”.
  • Return the value obtained from making the function call on the method “min()”.
• Define the parameterized method “min()”,
  • Check whether the left and right child of the root is null,
    • If it is true, return the value at the root.
  • Otherwise,
    • Assign the value at the root to the minimum.
    • Check whether the left child of the root is not null,
      • If it is true, assign the minimum value found from the left sub tree.
        • Check whether the right child of the root is not null,
        • • If it is true, assign the minimum value found from the right sub tree.
        • Return the minimum value.
