Summary Introduction
Energy conservation allows for the reduction of environmental consequences. If cars are made more fuel efficient, less fuel is used. The life span of petroleum reserves used for transportation would increase. Using alternative methods of transportation would also increase health benefits and can reduce obesity. Another way to conserve energy is to combine heat and power. Energy conservation is important for future global population increase.
